Buyer Protection
A service where payment is secured via a regulated partner until the buyer confirms delivery. If the product doesn't arrive, arrives damaged, or doesn't match the description, the buyer can raise a dispute for a full or partial refund.
Online Shopping Risks Without Protection
Buying from unfamiliar sellers online carries risks:
- Seller disappears after receiving payment
- Product arrives damaged or wrong
- Seller refuses to accept return
- No response after payment

Frequently Asked Questions
How does buyer protection work?↓
When you pay through GuardPe, your money is held in escrow by Cashfree Payments. The seller doesn't receive the money until you approve the delivery. If something goes wrong — no delivery, wrong product, or damaged item — you can raise a dispute within 7 days for a full or partial refund.
What happens if the seller doesn't deliver?↓
If the seller doesn't deliver within the agreed timeline, you can raise a dispute. Our team reviews the evidence (communication, timeline, delivery proof) and issues a full refund to you.
What if the product is damaged or wrong?↓
Document the issue with photos and communication. Raise a dispute through GuardPe. Our team reviews both sides' evidence and issues a fair resolution — partial refund for minor issues, full refund for major problems.
How long does refund take?↓
Once a dispute is resolved in your favor, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days to your original payment method.
Does this work for all types of purchases?↓
GuardPe buyer protection works for products, services, freelance work, and any transaction where both parties need protection. It works especially well for high-value purchases where trust is a concern.
Is my payment information safe?↓
Yes. We never store your card details. All payments are processed through Cashfree Payments, an RBI-licensed payment aggregator with bank-grade security.
